Always unfolding, the montage of life should always be unfinished. Life is a work in progress, please excuse the dust! ~ JB
No one is promised tomorrow. We live out our lives in continuos moments that are strung together like snapshots in a photo album. Our memories become a montage of moments that, strung together through the years, combine to create our soul’s résumé. Some moments will inevitably be worse than others (if you’re a pessimist), some will be great (you go you optimist!), but they will be yours and yours alone to claim or be ashamed of. Yes, most of these moments will be shared with those you love and those you fear, but when it boils down it, only you will know what moments make up your soul’s résumé.
When something in my life forces me to stop and think about where my life has taken me, a quote by Mark Twain often comes to mind. So, in response to those who ask me “why would I try something like this?” I would like to offer his sage words as my reply:
“Twenty years from now you’ll be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” ~ Mark Twain.
