I’mm off, & everything went smooth. On course, 4.2 knots, but that’s why I wanted to catch tonight’s good wind. Chasing the storm

Hi John, I hope all is well. The activity on your location seems unusual, I hope you’re safe.
I’ll be writing about this soon, so spoiler alert! Boat sank after 2 knock downs 60 miles N. of Isla de Cedros. Hull was crushed inward and cracked along the long axis, along the keel. I was picked up by the Mexican Navy about 2 hours before she sank.
Here’s my cell & email XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX, XXXXXXXXXXXXX. Call or email me if there’s something I can do to help you in anyway. I’m glad you’re safe, and sorry for your experience/ loss.
Am very sorry to hear about your girl, but she may very well have saved your life. I have been sailing my Columbia Challenger, often, for almost 14 years and she was my first and will probably be my last. Be in touch.
